Things to know if you want to work together.

I believe in humanity first. I believe influence is something you earn not something you buy. Data flattens human experience and should be used with caution and respect. People want to be surprised, spoken to, listened to. They need and want to be part of real conversations. They deserve better than what you are probably going to tell them. It’s useful to remember that no one’s as interested in your brand as you are until you give them a good reason to agree with you. Being extremely true to yourself — authenticity — is a good start. Being honest about your role in their actual lives is too. Self-promotion for its own sake is boring. So is constant, tone-deaf optimism. Be real about what’s really happening. It’s better to be out in culture than stuck in a category. If you want to do things like everyone else, please contact someone else. If you’re interested in our children's future, being part of people’s lives for real, doing things ethically while inventing your own rules, questioning most assumptions, trying harder, and respecting your relationships, I’d love to work with you.
